Cancer has touched my family in ways that have changed me forever. I’ve lost two grandfathers and my aunt to this disease. Their strength, courage, and love remain with me every day, reminding me of how deeply cancer affects not only those diagnosed, but everyone who loves them. At the same time, I’ve also witnessed hope. I’ve seen family members fight cancer and win. Their resilience inspires me and fuels my belief that progress is possible, that treatment can improve, and that one day more families will be celebrating survivors rather than mourning losses. I’m taking part in this fundraiser to honour the memory of those I’ve lost, to support the loved ones who continue to fight, and to stand with every family impacted by cancer. Every donation, no matter the size, helps advance research, support patients, and bring us closer to the day cancer is something we can truly overcome.
