Cancer is a cause that hits close to home for me, as many people in my life who are near and dear to me have been affected by this disease. By contributing to this tournament, I have an opportunity to give back and make a positive impact. Supporting cancer research not only honors those who have faced this battle but also helps to pave the way for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Hockey has always been a sport that brings communities together, and this tournament is a perfect example of teamwork both on and off the ice. Together, we can raise awareness, funds, and hope for those impacted by cancer. It’s a cause worth championing, and I am honored to play a part in it.
